Hi all,
I'm looking for some help with Mailwasher Pro (V3.1)
Mailwasher crashes on me every day without fail.
During delete/bounce of spam I get a "Not Responding" tag in the title bar of the mailwasher program and the screen just hangs at however many emails it has deleted at that time (never a specific number or from a specific domain).
I have to shut Mailwasher down, restart it, then bounce/delete my spam. I have recently seen at drastic increase in the amount of spam I am receiving daily. I was receiving around 100 spam emails per day, but now am up to +500 per day. I was wondering if maybe the program crashing is in some way contributing to my increased spam?
Next time it crashes, I'll have a look at the error report and post anything I find.
Thanks

zeusy, why don't you upgrade to 3.2 and see if that fixes your crashing problem (firetrust.com click the free download button) as there were several fixes in the upgrade.
If that doesn't fix it join the beta program and you will get some personal attention and support. They are serious about knocking off problems and bugs but you really need to be on at least the most current release. Being on the latest beta is even bwetter! _________________ Questions? Being on the latest beta is putting oneself on the bleeding edge. zeusy could well end up with more headaches, not less. Moving to v3.2, the latest stable version, is definitely the minimum upgrade called for though....

I agree, 3.2 first... but if he is still getting crashes the beta program will sure give him access to a lot more attention to his problem and access to new versions a month or so ahead of the next stable release.
I originally got into the beta program because I had a tough to find glitch, they got it fixed and the next beta release fixed the problem. I had it in hand several weeks before the next stable release.
If you are cautious you can run the stable and beta versions on the same computer (not at the same time) and test to see if your problem has been fixed and revert to the stable version if there are bugs you can't deal with.
I keep the beta on my main system and the stable on it (just in case) as well as keeping the latest stable version on a server system so I can answer questions about the stable version by just opening a VNC window to the server system. _________________ Questions? Try the wiki

I did the upgrade to 3.2 and have let it run for just over a week.
I get this error signature quite a few times;
szAppName : MailWasher.exe szAppVer : 3.2.0.4805 szModName : hungapp
szModVer : 0.0.0.0 offset : 00000000
Plus my spam has increased to nearer 700 emails per day
