Yes SORBS is complete rubbish.

There are a lot better RBLs such as spamhaus and spamcop which work so much better. The only thing worse than SPAM is dealing with SORBS.

Look @ there website it's complete rubbish. Not a happy camper!

I''ve dealt with SORBS before. Somehow, my site ended up getting on their blacklist and in spite of anything I did, they would not delist it, in fact, they were quite rude about it. Apparently it got listed from a faked header and they were convinced, without evidence, that it came from mine. I got my service provider in on it (MidPhase) and they put the law down, changed my IP address and told me all was good. The folks at SORBS just said it wouldn''t matter because next week the new IP would be banned as well (it hasn''t, all my hosted sites share a single, un-shared IP address). To this, MidPhase simply (literally) laughed and said let the little boys think what they want - they had dealt with them before as well.

It''s nothing to get an IP listed in SORBS BL, and they do nothing to verify claims, nor remove innocent parties from their list. I no longer use their blacklist in any of my spam software.
